Hazelnut Christmas Tree

Ingredients
2 x puff pastry
Mövenpick Hazelnut Cream Nut-Nougat
1 egg yolk
Decorations such as slivered almonds, sprinkles & Christmas sugar decorations

Preparation

  1. Cut the first pack of puff pastry into the shape of a Christmas tree.
  2. Then spread with the Mövenpick Hazelnut Cream Nut-Nougat.
  3. Place the second pack of puff pastry on top of the first one.
  4. From the remaining puff pastry, cut out a star for the top of the Christmas tree.
  5. Cut and turn in the sides of the tree.
  6. Brush the tree with egg yolk and bake in a pre-heated oven (fan oven 200 °C) for around 12-15 minutes.
  7. Decorate the Christmas tree with the Mövenpick Hazelnut Cream Nut-Nougat and then with slivered almonds or other Christmas decorations.

Preparation time: 25 minutes.
