Florentine Pudding Cup

Ingredients

  • Mövenpick Intense Custard Dessert Swiss chocolate
  • 30 g almonds, sliced
  • 25 g sugar
  • Orange
  • 15 g butter
  • 10 g honey
  • 10 g cream

Preparation

  1. Put the almonds, butter, sugar, honey, cream and orange zest in a saucepan and boil for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture caramelizes slightly and thickens.
  2. Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper to an even thickness. This works best if you cover the mixture with a second sheet of baking paper and then run a rolling pin over it.
  3. Cut out circles from the Florentine mixture with a circle cutter (approx. diameter of a pudding cup). Then put the rest of the dough back together, roll it out again and cut out the circles.
  4. Place the florentines on a baking tray lined with parchment paper to bake, leaving enough space between them.
  5. Bake the florentines for about 5 minutes at 200 degrees top/bottom heat until golden brown.
  6. Put the well cooled Florentines as a lid on the pudding.
