Easter cookies
Ingredients
- 300 g flour type 405
- 150 g powdered sugar
- 150 g butter in pieces
- 1 egg
- Mövenpick Fruit Spread Mango-Marilla
- Powdered sugar for dusting
- Cookie cutter or template
Preparation
- Mix the flour and powdered sugar in a bowl. Add the butter pieces and rub the mixture together until it forms a sand-like mass.
- Add one egg to the mixture. Knead the mixture with your hands to form a dough. Do not knead too much or the cookies will be hard.
- Put the dough in a covered bowl in the refrigerator for 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180 ° convection.
- Roll out the dough on a floured work surface, about 2 – 3 mm thick. Cut out cookies with the cookie cutter or with the template. Cut out an additional circle for half of the cookies.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 15 – 20 minutes. Keep a close eye on the cookies as they bake, they should not get too dark.
- Allow the cookies to cool completely on a wire rack.
- Spread the cookies with Mövenpick Mango-Marilla Fruit Spread.
- Dust the cookies with the hole cut out with plenty of powdered sugar.
- Put the two halves together and enjoy.
